Condition Report

A predominately early nineteenth century composite Hanoverian and Old English pattern silver canteen for twelve place settings comprising, dinner forks, side forks, both hallmarked Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater, London 1837, ivory handled steel dinner knives and side knives, dessert spoons hallmarked Jonathan Hayne, London 1826, six George III table spoons, a pair of George IV basting spoons, two sets of George III teaspoons and two pairs of George III condiment spoons, with matching initialled terminals and within Art Deco fitted case. Gross silver weight 80 ozt (2488 grams).

Purchasing information
    The canteen appear in good overall condition and looks to have been recently professionally repolished. Personal engravings have been solder flooded to the underside of the terminals. Hallmarks overall are clear and legible.
