Condition Report
A late Victorian silver tea caddy, the rectangular tapered form with embossed floral engraving surrounding twin opposed cartouches, leading to a raised hinged lid, the whole raised upon a gadroon rim base. Hallmarked Sutherland & Roden (George Guirren Rhoden), Sheffield 1898. Height measures 2 6/8 inches (7 cm), weight 3.8 ozt (118.5 grams).

Purchasing information-
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There is no personal engravings to the cartouches. The hinged lid shuts fully flush and in good working order. Some heavier tarnishing and stains to the interior and outer decoration with some minor loss of definition. Maker's mark slightly rubbed but hallmarks still legible.
