Condition Report

A late Victorian 9ct gold twin hearts hinged bangle. One with bow surmount, the other with padlock clasp and detachable key, hinged to the grooved sides. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1892. Inner diameter 6cms. Weight 6.1gms.

  • Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Showing soft solder marks to padlock heart, repair work visible.

  • Hairline split to the bow surmount.
  • Key is original, safety chain is a replacement.
  • Stamped 9ct to back of heart.

  • British Registry date stamped to back of heart 207138, for 1893.
