Condition Report

A pair of 9ct gold smoky quartz earrings. Each designed as an oval-shape smoky quartz, within a scrolling foliate surround, suspended from a textured surmount. Hallmarks for London, 1973. Length 4.9cms. Weight 8.8gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Quartz a medium greyish-brown, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Smoky quartz are not particularly well matched for colour, one a yellowish brown and one more greyish-brown.
  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • With screw clip fittings for non pierced ears.
