Condition Report

An early 20th century turquoise and split-pearl bracelet. Designed as a series of oval-shape links, each with circular turquoise cabochon and split pearl stylised floral detail, with a heart-shape padlock and a replacement spring ring clasp. AF. Length 21.3cms. Weight 12.2gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Heart-shape clasp does not operate.
  • Replacement spring-ring clasp base metal, with two base metal jump rings.
  • Soft solder to the base-metal jump rings.
  • Safety-chain has come loose one side.

  • Turquoise bright medium blue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and some typical dark inclusions visible on the surface inclusions.

  • Split pearls slightly discoloured off-white with some good, fair and muted lustres.

  • Stones in mostly good condition with minor abrasions, some have small chips to the edge.

  • Stamped 9ct.
