A late Victorian 18ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape ruby, with old-cut diamond surround and sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1889. Ring size M. Weight 4.9gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Approximate dimensions of ruby 7.3 by 6.1 by 3.7mms.
- Ruby medium pinkish red, fairly well saturated, with fair to poor clarity and typical inclusions.
- Ruby with large dark inclusion and internal fracture under the table facet.
- Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
