A late 19th century gold brooch. Of circular outline, with applied lettering reading 'Dulcissime Rerum', translating as 'Sweetheart' or 'Sweet Things' with a knot of gold through the centre, and scalloped detail to either side. Length 4.9cms. Weight 16.5gms.

Purchasing information-
The condition of this lot is good to fair, with surface scratches and light dints to the gold. The reverse has a file mark consistent with metal testing. The scalloped details are dinted to the outer edges and to the reverse. Pin is slightly misshapen.
