A late 19th century gold brooch.

Condition Report

A late 19th century gold brooch. Of circular outline, with applied lettering reading 'Dulcissime Rerum', translating as 'Sweetheart' or 'Sweet Things' with a knot of gold through the centre, and scalloped detail to either side. Length 4.9cms. Weight 16.5gms.

Purchasing information
    The condition of this lot is good to fair, with surface scratches and light dints to the gold. The reverse has a file mark consistent with metal testing. The scalloped details are dinted to the outer edges and to the reverse. Pin is slightly misshapen. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
