Condition Report

A late Victorian gold brooch. Of oval outline, the ovoid centre with wirework patterns, to the tiered cannetille surround and vacant panel to the reverse. Length 3.9cms. Weight 7.8gms.

Purchasing information
    The overall condition of this lot is fair, with scratches and dints in keeping with age and wear. The ovoid centre appears to be slightly tilted. With replacement base metal pin, hinge and clasp and base metal panels beneath these. The main part of the brooch tests as 18ct gold. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
