An early Victorian foil-back garnet and seed pearl necklace, with similar brooch. Designed as alternate cushion shape garnets with seed pearls to the surround and collet-set oval-shape garnets, to the concealed push-piece clasp, together with a brooch designed as a cushion-shape garnet with split pearl border. One oval shape garnet deficient. Lengths 1.8 to 40cms. With associated box.
