A mid Victorian 9ct gold garnet and split pearl ring. The graduated circular-shape garnet line, with split pearl double spaces and openwork gallery, to the scrolling engraved band. AF. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1878. Ring size L1/2. Weight 1.3gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Band split, in need of attention.
- Showing areas of soft solder to band, from previous repair where split.
- Garnets in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- Garnets dark purple.
- Seed pearls showing discoloration, cream to greyish tones, light to moderate nacre damage.
