Condition Report

Two items of opal jewellery. To include an early 20th century 9ct gold opal and opal doublet pendant, together with an 18ct gold opal single-stone ring. Ring with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1978. Total weight 7.1gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One stone in pendant an opal doublet.
  • Opals with dark background and good play-of-colour.
  • Opal in ring with small chip to the side.
  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles.

  • Length of necklace 41.5cms.
  • Length of pendant drop 4.8cms.
  • Pendant stamped 9ct.
