An 18ct gold gem-set brooch. The dyed chalcedony carved leaf, with branch overlay and marquise-shape ruby highlights. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1976. Length 7.4cms. Weight 16.7gms.

- Rubies medium red, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Dyed chalcedony is semi-translucent, blueish-green.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
