A 1960s 9ct gold reconstituted turquoise brooch. Of textured design, the entwined leaves and vines, with circular reconstituted turquoise cabochon highlights. AF. Hallmarks for London, 1968. Length 6.6cms. Weight 15.3gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • One turquoise deficient.

  • Reconstituted turquoise fairly bright blue, with whitish mottles, well saturated.

  • Yellowing residue of adhesive can be seen to most turquoise.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
