Condition Report

BREITLING - a gentleman's Aeromarine Avenger Sea Wolf chronograph wrist watch. Circa 2008. Stainless steel case with calibrated bezel. Reference A73390, serial 1218376. Signed quartz calibre B73, with quick date set, numbered 1400270. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to two, six and ten, date aperture between four and five. Fitted to a signed black rubber strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 44mm. Box and papers.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning. The chronograph counts one minute, but the hour counter has not been tested due to time constraints.
  • Movement appears to be in a generally good condition however as the movement serial number does not match the watch case serial number is it possible that this is a replacement movement or a replacement plate suggesting that previous intervention to this movement has occurred.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case appears to be in good condition with minor scratches and marks. Rotating bezel rotates.
  • Crown does not screw down and will require attention, otherwise it has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    This lot comes with a box with noticeable wear and papers dated 28.7.2009.
