A late Victorian gold opal and diamond crescent brooch, circa 1870. The graduated opal cabochon crescent, with diamond point spacers. Length 7.1cms. Weight 7.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Opals well match with strong play-of-colour throughout displaying blues, green, orange and reds.
- One opal is a replacement. It appears slightly shallow in the setting, however it is quite well matched in colour.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Diamonds bright.
- Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
