Condition Report
A late 19th century memorial, hand tinted ambrotype brooch. Of oval outline, the central rotating panel with glazed woven hair panel to one side and daguerreotype image to the other, depicting a lady with decorative head garment, to the curved surround. Can be worn as pendant. Length 9.1cms. Weight 49.1gms.

The condition of this lot is good to fair, with surface scratches and dints to the metal and glass and some metal discolouration. There is some over-painted detail to the head garment, neck bow and chain on the ambrotype.
