Condition Report

An early to mid Victorian memorial snake gold hair brooch. Designed as a coiled snake, the gold tail and head with scale patterns, red gems eyes and holding in its mouth a heart-shape locket with foliate engraving, hinging open to a glazed recess. Length 4.8cms. Weight 14.3gms.
