A mid Victorian gold gem ring.

Condition Report

A mid Victorian gold gem ring. Designed as a central single-cut diamond to the turquoise, paste and resin set surround and shoulders, shoulders of scrolling design also set with two replacement marcasites, with vacant panel space to the reverse. Ring size L. Weight 2gms.

Purchasing information
    The condition of this lot is fair to poor. There are a five turquoise cabochons deficient from the ring. Two replacement marcasite gems are present to the outermost settings. The turquoise that is present has some colour variation, some being of green-blue some a brighter blue tone. Evidence of resizing to the reverse of the band, where a join is visible. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
