An early 20th century 15ct gold peridot, garnet and split pearl brooch.

Condition Report

An early 20th century 15ct gold gem-set brooch. The circular-shape peridot, within a circular-shape green garnet surround, to the split pearl scrolling sides with similarly-cut green garnet accents. Length 3.7cms. Weight 3.2gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Localised file marks to the back of the pin.
  • Some stones possible replacements.

  • Later added jump ring can be seen the reverse, soft solder visible.

  • Peridot medium green, fairly well saturated, with good clarity.

  • Split pearls have a creamy body colour, with rose and olive overtones

  • Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
