Condition Report

An Edwardian 15ct gold and silver, gem-set pendant. The cushion-shape green tourmaline, suspended within a vari-cut diamond scrolling foliate surround, with pearl drop and concealed surmount. Estimated dimensions of tourmaline 11 by 9.5 by 5.2mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Length 4.3cms. Total weight 5.8gms. Pearl untested.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Tourmaline and mount likely replacements. Soft solder visible.
  • Diamonds bright and well matched.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Tourmaline is a medium deep green and slightly bluish green hue.
  • Pearl untested for natural origin.
  • Pearl is a drop shape, cream hue. Fair lustre. Slight orient.
