An early Victorian gold enamel memorial brooch. Designed as a looped ribbon-like mount of white, gold and black enamel suspending a circular charm, similarly enamelled to one side and glazed to the other with engraved lettering to the outside. Length 5.8cms. Weight 14gms.

The condition of this lot is fair, with chips and scratches to the enamel in keeping with age and wear. The engraving beneath the glass reads 'In Memory of the Rev'd W B Whitfield died Sept 26 1847'.
