Condition Report
Two mid Victorian gem memorial brooches. Both of rectangular outline, the first with an outer surround of circular garnets (one replacement), an inner line of split pearls and a glazed central panel, the second similarly designed with an outer surround of circular coral cabochons. Lengths 2.2 to 2.4cms. Weight 7.9gms.

Purchasing information-
The condition of this lot is fair. The garnet brooch has repair evident to the reverse where there are two areas of visible soft solder. One of the garnets has been replaced with a faceted red paste. The coral brooch has a split pearl deficient. Dints, scratches and chips to the pieces in keeping with age and wear. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
