A mid Victorian gold garnet brooch. The cannetille knot, with purple garnet bud overlay, suspending a replacement drop. Length 7.6cms. Weight 13.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and small dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- The principal drop is presumed replacement, it has ben more recently cleaned and differs slightly in style to the main piece.
- Possible replacement gems.
- Some more noticeable dents to the back of the drop.
- Garnets are in closed back settings, presumed foil back.
- The garnets are a medium deep reddish purple hue.
- Some small nicks and minor abrasion. The pear-shape garnet to the drop is chipped.
- Width 5cms.
