A late Georgian paste buckle.

Condition Report

A late Georgian paste buckle. In two parts and connecting with a hook clasp, each with foil-backed blue glass oval-shape panels, with applied floral designs set with colourless pastes, to the colourless paste surround, designed as stylised flowers and branches. Complete length 9.5cms. Weight 67.1gms.

    The condition of this lot is good, with general signs of wear to the pastes and tarnish to the metal. The glass panel to one part has cracked through the centre and to the same side one paste has a significant crack and has some yellow discolouration. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
