Condition Report
A George III silver toast rack, the navette form within beaded border and twin reeded handles supporting an openwork base detachable and held in place with two pins and rising to arched wire frame dividers. Hallmarked George Smith II 1787. Maximum length measuring 10 1/4 inches (26 cm), weight 8.8 ozt (275 grams).

Purchasing information-
The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Wobbles slightly. One of the arched wire dividers have broken at the join, others including the crossed sections have solder repairs. Hallmarks a little distorted by the pins, cross sections to the base each with lion passant mark.
