A late Victorian silver bowl with chased decoration.

Condition Report

A late Victorian silver bowl, the circular slightly tapering form ornately chased throughout with stylised foliate and scroll motifs in a repeated pattern and surrounding a monogrammed circular panel. Hallmarked Frederick Courthope, London 1887. Height measuring 3 inches (7.5 cm), weight 3.99 ozt (124.3 grams).

Purchasing information
    The bowl displays general surface wear and tarnishing consistent with the age and use. Surface marks and scratches and several dints and bumps. Some rubbing to the decoration. The surface appears more uneven around the monogram. Interior was likely once gilded but this is now faded. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
