A George III silver small sauceboat.

Condition Report

A George III silver small sauceboat, the typical bellied form with scalloped rim, foliate capped double scroll handle and raised on three stepped hoof feet with shell terminals. Hallmarked London 1771, maker Stephen Adams I or II. Maximum length measuring 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), weight 3.02 ozt (94 grams).

Purchasing information
    The sauceboat displays expected general wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There are surface marks and scratches and slight impressions from feet visible to interior. Slight knocks to feet although it stands without wobbling. Hallmarks are rubbed and a little distorted but still legible. Also with initial engraving to underside E * W.
