An early 20th century small silver tea caddy.

Condition Report

An early twentieth century small silver tea caddy, the octagonal-sided bombe form raised on foliate scroll feet and having a slightly domed hinged lid. Hallmarked Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Sheffield, date letter worn probably 1906 or 1913. Maximum height measuring 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 4.52 ozt (140.7 grams).

Purchasing information
    The caddy appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general tarnishing, surface wear, marks and scratches. Solder repair to one edge of the lid. Hinged to lid appear in good working order. Hallmarks are clearly legible although the date letter is worn. Also clear part hallmarks to reverse of lid. Impressed pattern number 3807 to base.
