Purchasing information
The dish displays general surface wear and tarnishing consistent with the age and use. Also surface marks and scratches and a couple of minor dints. Slight compression to the foot so that an impression is visible to the interior of the dish. Also some floods of solder visible to underside of foot indicating a possible repair? Swing handle appears in working order. Slight rubbing to decoration but it is generally still good. Hallmarks are partly obscured with only the lower parts visible of a maker's mark, lion passant, leapord head, date letter and Duty mark. It looks most likely to be the head of George III.
