Condition Report

An early twentieth century silver desk inkstand of oblong form, dual square glass inkwells, sunken pen channel, all within gadroon borders and raised on four paw feet. Hallmarked Birmingham 1911, the maker probably William Neale & Son. Length measuring 8 1/2 inches (22 cm), gross weighable silver 13.3 ozt (415 grams).

Purchasing information
    The desk inkstand displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Some rubbing with loss of definition. A number of small chips to the glass inkwells. Both hinge pins dislodged and one cover rises slightly in the closed position. Hallmarks somewhat rubbed but legible, maker's mark very worn.
