An Art Nouveau small pierced silver dish with liner.

Condition Report

A small Art Nouveau twin-handled silver basket, the oval openwork form with flared rim and spread base and decorated with trailing flowers and foliage throughout, with green glass liner of conforming shape. Hallmarked Samuel Jacob, London 1903. Maximum length including handles measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) and height 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), silver weight only 4.83 ozt (150.5 grams).

Purchasing information
    The basket appears in fairly good overall condition displaying some tarnishing throughout. General surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Some flattening and loss of surface detail to areas of the decoration. Minor dints and bumps visible to the plain underside of base. Hallmarks are clear and legible. Two large chips to the rim of the glass liner.
