A late Victorian silver hors d'oeuvres dish

Description

Condition Report

A late Victorian silver hors d'oeuvres dish, with central scrolled handle support joining three circular dishes, each having a gadroon rim and raised on two splay feet. Hallmarked Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson & David Landsborough Fullerton), London 1898. Maximum length measuring 9 1/2 inches (24 cm), weight 13.24 ozt (412 grams).

Please note: When placing absentee bids, your bids will be rounded up to the nearest bid increment. For more information click the 'Important Notices for Purchasers' button above.

Purchasing information
The dish appears quite tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Some general surface wear and numerous surface scratches and marks and some small surface dints and bumps are visible. Possible repairs to some joins. Clear and legible hallmarks to the interior of each dish. There is a single glass liner but it is in very poor condition and not original.
