Condition Report
A late Victorian silver cream jug, of circular bellied form with a central vacant cartouche surrounded by flat chased floral, scroll and birds motifs, with high arch scroll handle and raised upon three paw feet, hallmarked John Millward Banks, Chester 1899, height measuring 4 2/8 inches (10.8 cm). Together with an Edwardian silver helmet cream jug, of plain form with inverted studded detail, curved handle and raised upon a square base, hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1901. Gross weight 4.8 ozt (152 grams). (2).

Purchasing information-
In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Construction seam visible to the Victorian example, further marked with John Millward Banks flower trademark alongside the hallmarks. Possible signs of repair around the handle of the Edwardian example with a slight split forming to the silver. Hallmarks slightly rubbed but still legible.
