Condition Report

A late Victorian gold, sapphire and diamond two-row ring. Designed as two graduated sapphire and vari-cut diamond lines, with replacement band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Ring size R. Weight 3.7gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Evidence of repair to the settings, claws worn one is deficient, attention required.

  • Sapphire patchy medium blue, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Diamond fairly well matched.

  • Diamonds bright.

  • Diamonds show light coloured inclusions under magnification.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Sapphires in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
