Condition Report
An opal and diamond pendant. The mid 20th century oval opal cabochon and single-cut diamond cluster, suspended from a later integral trace-link chain. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Length of pendant 3.8cms. Length of chain 42cms. Weight 6.4gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Diamonds bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Opal is showing flashes in a range of hues, colour patches are predominantly orange, green and blue.
- Opal has two fine cracks on the area to the right hand side with little or no play of colour and has some surface scratches.
- Can not assess if the opal is solid or doublet due to mount restrictions.
- Estimated dimensions of opal 17 by 9.5 by 3.7mms.
- Length of gem-set cluster 2.2cms.
