Condition Report

An emerald, ruby and diamond ring. The off-set marquise-shape emerald and ruby, with brilliant-cut diamond shared surround and similarly-cut diamond line asymmetric sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct. Ring size L. Weight 5.3gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition is good. Some surface scratches/wear to the band, in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Several small dents visible on the band.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Some diamonds are drawing a slight yellow tint of colour.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Emerald is a medium bright green, well saturated, with good clarity and typical numerous inclusions, some potentially surface reaching.

  • Emerald is in good condition with minor abrasions to facet edges.

  • Ruby is a medium red, well saturated, with good clarity and typical gas bubbles and healed fracture inclusions.

  • Ruby is in fair condition with some minor abrasions to surface and facet edges.

  • Length of ring head 1.5cms.
  • Stamped 750, partially indistinct.
