An early 20th century gem-set brooch. The moonstone, carved to depict a man-in-the-moon, with alternate old-cut diamond and vari-shape sapphire crescent partial surround, to the cultured pearl terminal spiral bar sides. Moonstone AF. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Length 4.5cms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Moonstone cracked.
- Composite item, comprising components of similar age.
- Some sapphires likely replacement stones.
- Moonstone translucent cloudy white.
- Sapphires vary in appearance, with various hues of blue, fairly well to lightly saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.
- Diamond fairly well matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Some stones in poor condition with significant damage, some in fair condition, with minor abrasion.
