An early 19th century gold vinaigrette. Of circular outline, the engine turned panels front and back, to the floral surround, one side hinging open to reveal a pierced hinged floral panel to a recess. Diameter 3.2cms. Weight 9.6gms.

Purchasing information-
The condition of this lot is fair. There is dinting and discolouration to the outer surface particularly to the outer edge. The closed side has a hole in the gold, which is visible also from the interior where it sits beneath the hinged pierced panel. There is denting also visible to the surround of the hole. The jump ring to the top of the surround is bent out of position.
