Condition Report

A late Victorian gold enamel, split pearl and onyx memorial brooch. Of oval outline, the central carved oval panel depicting a flower, to the split pearl surround, black enamel border reading 'In memory of', to the scrollwork surround and a glazed woven hair panel to the reverse. Length 2.6cms. Weight 5.2gms.

    The condition of this lot is fair, with scratches and dirt to the enamel. Scratches to the gold, onyx, glass and split pearls in keeping with general wear. Beneath the glass is some green discolouration. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
