Condition Report

An early 20th century platinum and 18ct gold opal and diamond cluster ring. The oval opal cabochon, with old-cut diamond surround and stylised fleur-de-lis shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Ring size M. Weight 4.4gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • The settings are slightly worn thin, in keeping with age.

  • Opal has good play-of-colour throughout, displaying red, orange, green, blue and violet colours.
