Condition Report
An opal and garnet pendant. Of openwork design, the demantoid garnet triangle, with scrolling sides and demantoid garnet circle surround, opal highlights and similarly-set surmount, suspended from a 9ct gold box-link chain. Chain with import marks for London, 1978. Length of pendant 3.5cms. Length of chain 45cms. Total weight 9.4gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- One opal collet setting is dented to the bottom side.
- Stones in fair to good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- One opal and one colourless gem significantly chipped.
- Some garnets lightly chipped.
- Some stones are replacements.
- Not all green gems tested dues to size and setting restrictions, some possibly not demantoid garnet.
