A late Victorian silver and gold, diamond and ruby fly pin. The foil back ruby cabochon abdomen, with old-cut diamond body and wings, to the ruby and replacement garnet eyes, on a spiral pin. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Length 2.2cms. Weight 5.6gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Replacement garnet. Glue visible at mount.
- Wear to some mounts.
- Diamonds bright and well matched.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Rubies are foil back and appear a medium deep pinkish, slightly purplish red hue.
