An early 20th century gold, opal and ruby ring. The oval opal cabochon, with circular-shape ruby shoulders and textured surround. Ring size O1/2. Weight 5.1gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Rubies are a medium red, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Rubies are in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Opal with good play of colour, flashes in a range of hues, with minor surface scratches.
  • Estimated dimensions of opal 18 by 8 by 4mms.
  • Stamped 18CT and PLAT.
