Condition Report

An early 20th century gold, coral and diamond bar brooch. The circular coral cabochon, with rose-cut diamond surround and sides. Length 5.2cms. Weight 5.6gms. Coral untested.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Dents to mounts and reverse.
  • One terminal with file mark and discolouration.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Diamonds too small to colour and clarity grade.
  • Some of the diamonds are chipped.
  • Coral untested for natural colour origin.
  • Coral slightly mottled light to medium pinkish orange, fairly well saturated.

  • Coral in good condition with some surface scratches.

  • Estimated diameter of coral 9.7mms.
