Condition Report

A pair of George III silver berry spoons, each with a fruiting embossed bowl, leading to a foliate engraved stem with initialled cartouche to the terminal, further engraved decoration and vacant cartouches verso, hallmarked William Eley & William Fearn, London 1807, maximum length measures 8 5/8 inches (22 cm). Together with a part set of five late Victorian silver teaspoons, each with ball terminal, hallmarked George Unite & Sons, Birmingham 1887 and a selection of seven silver condiment spoons. Gross weight 6.8 ozt (137.3 grams).

Purchasing information
    In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The berry spoons look to be altered from table spoons with later decorated, as there is slight variance between the lengths and engraving, one bowl still has signs of gilding, each engraved with 'C' or 'L'? to the terminals. One of the teaspoons has a small split across the top of the heel join where it has been squashed. The condiment spoons have various dates and maker's mark, one with blue enamelled decoration and marked Sterling Norway. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible.
