Condition Report
A large Edwardian silver caster, the panelled baluster body decorated with repeated foliate motifs and raised on a circular spread foot, the removable cover pierced and engraved within stippled borders and having a flame finial. Hallmarks rubbed, assumed Birmingham 1901, maker's mark now indistinct. Maximum height to finial measuring 9 1/2 inches (24 cm), weight 8.21 ozt (255.4 grams).

Purchasing information-
The caster appears in fair overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A few minor dints. There is slight compression to one side of the foot and a split in the metal has formed between joins. Wobbles slightly on a flat surface. Visible solder line around shoulders and also clearly visible to interior. Lid appears to be a good fit. Hallmarks very rubbed and partly worn away.
