Condition Report
A set of three George III silver pedestal open salts, each of twin-handled octagonal sided form, initial engraved and having lobed decoration to the lower body, missing glass liners. Hallmarked Daniel Pontifex, London 1795. Maximum length measuring 5 1/4 inches (13.5 cm), weight 10.15 ozt (315.8 grams).

Purchasing information-
All three salts displaying some general wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. General surface marks and scratches and a few minor dints and knocks. Visible seam lines at handle joins. One of the salts has a gilded interior. On this same salt, there appear to be creases and solder repairs to the short stem. Further minor solder repairs. Hallmarks are located to foot rim and are mostly clear and legible, maker's marks are rubbed.
