Purchasing information
In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of polish visible in between the decoration, heavier tarnishing to the underneath of the base. Some of the leaf tips on the base are slightly bent. There is a gap between two leafs on the base, possibly where a handle may have been, there is also a split running parallel with the edge of one leaf. The interior of the socket has dirt and wax residue. There is a ring loop attached to the stem of the socket, possibly to hold a further component. The detachable extinguisher has partial hallmarks, main hallmarks to base, all clear and legible.
