Condition Report

A late Victorian silver bonbon dish, of circular pierced form with rope-twist rim and embossed raised centre with floral motifs surrounding a vacant cartouche, the whole raised upon a circular splayed base, hallmarked London 1895, maker's mark J C, diameter measures 4 7/8 inches (12.6 cm). Together with a modern silver bonbon dish, of circular form with pierced gallery, hallmarked Birmingham 1970, a George V shallow silver dish with personal inscription and a further modern silver pierced dish. Gross weight 20.3 ozt (634.2 grams). (4).

Purchasing information
    In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. All items would benefit from a clean and polish. No personal engravings to the raised centre of the late Victorian bonbon dish. The George V silver dish is engraved 'Paignton 1939 Regatta. Fireflame 1st Prize. F. V. Everard' which is slightly rubbed and worn, some minor compression from the circular base to the interior of the bowl. Hallmarks clear and legible.
