Condition Report

A George II silver bun top pepper caster, of baluster form with banded decoration above a slightly domed foot, the removable lid with simple hole piercing. Hallmarked Samuel Wood, London 1757. Height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), weight 1.87 ozt (58.3 grams).

Purchasing information
    The caster displays general tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Minor surface dints and bumps. Some likely solder repairs. Hallmarks are located to the underside, there is some heavy tarnish but they are all clearly legible, also with engraved initials TW. The lid appears unhallmarked.
